Goal

Guessing closest numerically to the real answer using your number cards.

First to 10 points (4+ players) or 5 points (2–3 players) wins. Feel free to adjust for a shorter or longer game.

Setup

  1. Shuffle the Question deck and place it face-down in the centre.
  2. Shuffle the Number deck; deal 5 Number cards to every player.
  3. Give each player their ±10 token (either side up).
  4. Each player flips the top Number card; highest value becomes the first dealer.

Round Sequence

  1. Reveal Questions: Flip two Question cards face-up.
  2. Optional Hand Exchange: Simultaneously, players may discard their entire hand and draw five new cards.
  3. Make Guesses:
    • Choose one Number card for each Question and place them face-down.
    • Optionally add your ±10 token to one of those cards (+10 or −10).
  4. Dealer’s Peek: Dealer spies one face-down card, then may adjust any of their own cards/token.
  5. Reveal & Resolve:
    1. Flip the Question cards to show the exact answers.
    2. Reveal Number cards, applying ±10 modifiers.
  6. Award Points:
    • 2–3 players: Closest = 1 pt (take the Question card).
    • 4+ players: Closest = 2 pts (take the Question); second-closest = 1 pt (take a Number card).
    • Ties: all tied players receive full points for that tier.
  7. Clean-Up:
    • Discard revealed Number cards, refill hands to 5.
    • Reclaim tokens, pass dealer clockwise.

End of the Game

If a player reaches or exceeds the target score after scoring a round, they win. Ties are resolved by additional rounds until one winner emerges.

Handicap Rule (optional)

For mixed-skill tables, start experienced players with fewer Number cards and newer players with extra cards.
